The Prop 8 Battle in CA

The Prop 8 Battle in CA is a tough one.  In case you’re not aware, this is the ballot initiative to take away the right for gay couples to marry.  We wrote on this one on Sept. 17 when Brad Pitt gave $100k in the effort to fight to the Proposition.  The Courage Campaign has put out a humorous new ad, called “Gender Auditors,” against the proposition.  Here it is … don’t watch with the little ones:

Right on, dude

I’m not a Brad Pitt swooner.  Not my type.  But today, he’s my kind of guy.

Pitt has donated $100k to help fight Proposition 8 in California, a measure to make same sex marriage illegal.  From Pitt’s statement:

“Because no one has the right to deny another their life even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8.”
